COMMITTEE CHAIR OVERVIEW

Term: 1 year
Time Commitment: Approximately 4 hours a Month

Overview:
The Committee Chair is an appointed leadership role within the SITE Midwest Board structure. This position works closely with the Vice President and Director of a specific committee to support initiatives, complete tasks, and help achieve committee goals throughout the year.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with the SITE Board, gain insight into chapter operations, and make a meaningful impact—while building experience that could lead to a future Director role.

Responsibilities:

Attend monthly committee meetings and board calls

Support VP and Director with committee projects and initiatives

Take on tasks outside the core VP/Director workload to help move projects forward

Share ideas, feedback, and support to ensure committee success

Learn about chapter governance, operations, and event planning

Participate in occasional in-person events to represent SITE Midwest
Time Commitment:

Approximately 4 hours per month (including meetings and follow-up tasks)

Additional time may be needed during peak activity periods (e.g., major events)
-
Optional travel and in-person engagement opportunities may arise throughout the year
